Abstrak

The application of change has made employees feel frustrated or stressed in the face of changes in the organization, the causes of frustration and stress are caused by a lack of understanding of the utility of changes made for these people, changes felt by no employee perceived benefits. This response made many employees unwilling to accept and ignore the changes applied by the organization. The purpose of this study is first, to determine the effect of job satisfaction and commitment to employee attitudes toward change. The object of this research is employees at the Department of Agriculture in Dharmasraya Regency, West Sumatra Province. The population will be sampled in the object of research. This study uses primary data obtained by distributing questionnaires. The variables in this study are the dependent variable (attitude towards change), the independent variable (Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment). Data analysis method in this study used descriptive analysis to analyze data by describing all data collected from all respondents, with data preparation methods in the form of tables, graphs, and percentage calculations. Whereas to test and answer the hypothesis will use the equation Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Job satisfaction does not have an effect on attitudes toward organizational change, while organizational commitment has an influence on attitude positively and is significant in the sense that the higher the Organizational Commitment the better the attitude.
