Abstrak

This paper aims to investigate the effec of islamic works ethics and organizational
commitment on attitude toward organizational change. Theoritically, attitude toward
change could be explained by process, contents, context and invidual variables, such as
islamic work ethic. Using 30 final respondents working in goverment institution in
several city and district, we applied a multivariate regression anallysis. The result show
that there is a significant effect of islamic working ethic on attitude toward change.
However, organizational commitment does not have an significant effect on attitude. This
study has a practical and theoritical implications.
