PENERAPAN KONSEP SMART BUILDING PADA FOOD CENTER DI JL. JEND. A. YANI KOTA PADANG

Abstrak

The development of architecture in Indonesia in the era of globalization is moving forward along with
the development of technology. In addition, the use of energy also plays an active role in helping
activities in buildings, therefore it is necessary to pay attention to nature and the human environment.
Smart Building is an attempt to apply the concept of energy-efficient buildings in sustainable
development for the future. This concept provides an effective and more efficient subsystem in
managing, utilizing natural energy into artificial energy where buildings can produce energy for the
activities that take place therein. This research is rationalistic deductive, this study uses theory as a
tool to discuss the problems that are the object of research, analyze fact data and can later provide
solutions to problems by applying the Smart Building concept.
