PENATAAN KAMPUNG KOTA DI KELURAHAN PASA GADANG KECAMATAN PADANG SELATAN DENGAN PENDEKATAN ARSITEKTUR COMPACT HOUSE

Abstrak

In an age that is growing and science continues to increase. Humans are required to be able to
adjust to changes in these developments. But with the increase in human population, it is also
possible that there are many shortages of human resources. The number of people who migrate
into urban areas makes the atmosphere of city life increasingly narrow so that with a community
that fails will find their identity, they will settle in the city. So as to create a village town that
sometimes actually violates many rules. So the government must be prepared to provide additional
regulations regarding increasingly narrow land requirements. The author plans the arrangement of
urban villages with the Compact House approach to maximize the function of a more flexible
space. Among the characteristics of Compact House is a simple building because it tends to use
geometric patterns, monochrome colors and has a mezzanine system. Mezzanine system is what
makes a lot of space requirements in limited space to be fulfilled. The author also uses the
Deductive-Qualitative-Phenomenology method.
