PELESTARIAN UMOH LAHEK LIMO LUHAH SEBAGAI DAYA TARIK WISATA WARISAN BUDAYA DI KOTA SUNGAI PENUH

Abstrak

Umoh Lahek is a house that has a longitudinal creaking pattern consisting of several
interconnected tenements that function as houses. The existence of Umoh Lahek has now been
eliminated due to the influence of modernization. The purpose of this study is how to preserve the
proper Umoh Lahek and explore the potential of Umoh Lahek as a cultural heritage tourist attraction.
The approach method used is qualitative which produces descriptive data. In this case the
qualitative method used is Rationalistic. The location of this research is in the Umoh Lahek Limo
Luhah Area Sungai Penuh City. The proposed conservation measures are the rehabilita tion of the
remaining Umoh Lahek and the conservation of the Umoh Lahek Limo Luhah which is full of cultural
values and a legacy in the future. Based on the analysis of tourism that is seen from the technical
requirements in determining attractions such as accessibility, amenities and attractions, Umoh Lahek
Limo Luhah can become a cultural heritage tourism area by preserving the Umoh Lahek into a
valuable tourist attraction. However, there is a need for collaboration between the Sungai Penuh City
government and the local community consisting of the Limo Luhah indigenous community, adat
stakeholders (Depati and Ninik Mamak), and the community.
