Abstrak

This study aims to investigate the effect of transformational leadership and work engagement on
organizational citizenship behavior among two agriculture servant. Besides, this study also
determaine the role of work engagement as mediation variabel between transformational leadership
and organizational citizenship behavior. We use thirty respondents in work Food Security Service and
Plantation Service of west Pasaman Barat District. Using the structural equation model (SEM) with
smart-pls approach, we find the transformational leadership has a positive relationship with the
work engagement. However, work engagement as independent variabels does not have a
significant relationship with organizational citizenship organizational behavior. In addition, work
engagement as mediation variable also does not influence the organizational citizenship behavior.
This study has a practical and theorical contribution and they are discussed.
