PENEGAKAN HUKUM DALAM MENCEGAH PENYELUNDUPAN DI KPPBC PADANG

Abstrak

Smuggling is any activity that has the purpose of sending goods to other countries without fulfilling applicable procedures. Smuggling can hamper the economi. In the custom law, strict criminal act against smuggling have been determined, but seen from implementation, there are still cases of smuggling. Based on this, it is necessary to take appropriate steps for law enforcement in preventing smuggling. From here can be formulated the problem of how law enforcement in preventing smuggling and whether obstacles to law enforcement in preventing smuggling in the padang KPPBC. This study aims to analyze how law enforcement and what are abstacles to law enforcement in preventing smuggling in the padang KPPBC. This research method is sosiological law. The results of the stydy show that law enfoecement in preventing the prevention of smuggling includes surveillance, enforcement or investigations conducted by customs officers and in the implementation there are abstacles such as the lack of skilled investigators, the small number of investigators, the lack of compromise with other law enforcement agencies, poor coordination in the field, inadequate investigation equiqment.
