This research is motivated by the lack of motivation to learn science fifth grade students of SD Negeri 32 River Nets Agam. The purpose of this research is to improve students' motivation to learn science through cooperative learning model Index Card Match Elementary School fifth grade at 32 River Nets Agam. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which is conducted in two cycles. Data sources is Elementary School fifth grade students Agam Nets 32 River totaling 27 people. Data collection techniques derived from the sheet in managing aspects of teacher learning, student motivation, student motivation questionnaire and student learning outcomes. Data processed qualitatively and quantitatively. Based on the analysis sheet in managing aspects of teacher learning, the average found in classical cycle I have increased 70.83% to the second cycle with an average of 83.33% classical. Students' motivation in asking in the first cycle found classical average 29.62% increase to the second cycle with an average of 66.67% classical, motivation and respond to questions asked in the first cycle with the classical average 35.18% increase to the second cycle with an average of 70.37% classical, in improving discipline in the first cycle with an average 74.07% increase to the classical second cycle with an average of 83.33% classical. Motivation questionnaire cycle I found classical average 65.03% increase to the second cycle average of 67.69% classical. From the results obtained it can be concluded that there is an increased motivation to learn science Elementary School fifth grade students Agam Nets 32 River after using cooperative learning model Index Card Match.
