ABSTRACT

This research is motivated by the poor results of social studies in the fifth grade students of SDN 27 Lagan Kecil MudikPesisir Selatan. One way that can be used to address this issue by using a model adalh Student Team Achievement Division (STAD). The purpose of this study was to describe the learning outcome of students in class V in social studies learning model through the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) in SDN 27 Lagan Kecil MudikPesisir Selatan. This research is a classroom action research. This research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings. The subject of this research is the students of class V SDN 27 Lagan Kecil MudikPesisir Selatantotaling 18 people. The research instrument used in this study is the teacher activity sheet, affective student assessment sheets that students in the first cycle of cooperation 68.06% increase to 78.48% in the second cycle. Student learning outcomes in the cognitive aspects of knowledge ie 64.44% in the first cycle increased to 85% in the second cycle, similar thing also increased, namely the aspect of understanding, the first cycle of 53.89% increase to 79.44% in the second cycle , From the data obtained it can be concluded that there is a learning outcome IPS fifth grade students of SDN 27 Lagan Kecil MudikPesisir Selatanafter using the model Student Team Achievement Division (STAD).
