### PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPEREATIF TIPE TEAM GAMES TOURNAMENT DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VII MTsN DURIAN TARUNG PADANG

**SUMMARY**

The result of students learning grade VII MTsN Durian Tarung Padang in MID Semester year 2016/2017 is still under KKM. The causes is less interest and student responses to mathematics learning. For making students more enthusiastic and responsive to mathematics learning, one of the solutions is the teacher must presents a lesson by an interesting form. One of the efforts should be done is apply form of cooperative learning type Team Games Tournament. Team Games Tournament is one type of cooperative learning that put students into some groups. Team Games Tournament has 5 main steps: Class presentation, Learning Team, Game, Tournament and apprecitation. Type of research used an experimental research. Population in this research is student of class VII MTsN Durian Tarung Padang year 2016/2017. The sample in this research is grade VII.4 there are 38 people as control class and grade VII.5 there are 40 people as an experiment class. Learning result data obtained by giving a final test to both sample classes which consists of nine items. So that both sample classes gived a hypothesis test, get results χ^{2} = 6,38 and db = 1 obtained (0,01) < p < (0,02) or 0,005 < p < 0,01 because a= 0.05 then p<0.05 means H_{o} is rejected and H_{1} accepted. Therefore, can be concluded that proportion of students who achieve mastery learning mathematics students using cooperative learning model type Team Geams Tournament higher than the proportion of students who achieve mastery learning mathematics learning using ordinary learning.
