INCREASING THE ABILITY OF THE STUDENTS IN WRITING NARRATIVE TEXT IN USING CONTRUCTIVISME APPROACHES IN CLASS FOUR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AT SD NEGERI KOTO SALIDO KABUPATEN PESISIR SELATAN

The background of this research was because of the low ability of the students in writing narrative text was still poor. This is caused by the teachers teach wrote the students with konvensional method in teacly and learning process. The teacher only gave  the theme of narrative text and then the students are asked by the teacher to wrote a narrative text. After the students made the narrative text they the teacher didn’t do correction, edittiy and publication. The teacher just collected the narrative that students made. So teaching learning process is still not affective. The purpose of this research was to describe, the improving of students ability in writing narrative text through contructivisme approaches this research used action research and the sample of population wase the students of SD negeri no 32 koto salido. The total sample were 20 students. The instrumentation of this research was writing test in narrative text, observation sheet students activity. Based on the firding of this researchin cycly I and cyclyII the percertage of the students have good grade in cyclyI 60% and in cyclyII increasing be 85%. So there was improvement of  the students ability in writing narrative about 25%. Based on the resull-of this research, it can be concluded that contructivisme approaches could increases the students ability in writing narrative text.
