ABSTRACT

The low him is problem of result learn Mathematics in student of elementary school 48 ganting, district of koto tangah, field town because of study model which still have the character of conventionally. This research to ability of Mathematics Communications and result of learning student approach of contextual teaching and learning (CTL) to their students fourth grade elementary school48 Ganting, District of Koto Tangah, Town field. Subjec of this reseacrh is student fuorth grade, amounting to 20 people. Research instruments the used is sheets of observation the ability to communicate, sheets of observation activity teachers and about the result of student learning. The results of which have been executed can know that mean value final restating of cycle one is 60.83 with complate percentage learn 41,66 %. Increase in average score repeated the end of cycle teo be 77,70 with the ketuntasan learn 91,66 %.From our analysis sheets of observation the ability to communicate students obtained flattened percentage on cycle one is 33,18 % and cycle two the average a high percentage of obtained was 83,55 %.The results can be concluded that learning mathematics approach in contextual teaching and learning can increase the ability to communicate mathematical and study results students fourth grade land 48 Ganting, Kecamatan the Koto Tangah, city the field.
