ANALISA KINERJA BUDIDAYA IKAN KERAPU CANTIK (Epinephelus sp) DI KABUPATEN PESISIR SELATAN

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisa kinerja budidaya ikan Kerapu Cantik (Epinephelus sp) di Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan di lihat dari kontribusi dan pengaruh faktor produksi. Faktor produksi tersebut adalah luas lahan, benih, tenaga kerja dan pakan rucah. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Sungai Nipah Kecamatan IV Jurai Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor produksi benih dan pakan rucah berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil produksi sedangkan luas lahan dan tenaga kerja tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil produksi. Hasil penelitian terkait efisiensi produksi, menunjukkan bahwa nilai efisiensi teknis pada usaha budidaya ikan Kerapu Cantik adalah 0,7576 atau sekitar 76% dan masih dapat ditingkatkan sebesar 24% hingga mencapai 100%. Nilai efisiensi harganya adalah 1,392 ini berarti bahwa usaha budidaya masih belum efisien sehingga perlu penambahan kuantitas faktor produksi untuk mengoptimalkan hasil produksi sedangkan nilai efisiensi ekonominya adalah 1,052 hal ini berarti bahwa usaha budidaya ikan Kerapu Cantik belum efisien sehingga perlu mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan luas lahan, benih, tenaga kerja dan pakan ikan rucah.

ABSTRACT

            This study aims to analyze the influence of production factors used by fish farmer on the production of grouper fish (Epinephelus sp). The factors of production are land area, seed, labor and trash feed. This research was conducted in Sungai Nipah, Kecamatan IV Jurai Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan, which is started from March to May 2017. The results of research showed that the factors of production of seed and feed trash have a significant effect on the results of production while the area of land and labor has no significant effect on the production. The results also showed that the technical efficiency value 0.7576 or about 76% and still can be increased 24%. Price efficiency value is 1.392 this means that the fish farmer is still not efficient so it needs to increase the quantity of production factors to optimize the production output while the economic efficiency is 1,052 this means that the business of grouper cultivation is inefficient so it needs to optimize  the wide utilization of land, seed, labor and feed trash fish.
