PEMBERIAN VITAMIN YANG BERBEDA PADA Chlorella sp TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN POPULASI Brachionus plicatilis

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian vitamin yang berbeda pada Chlorella sp terhadap pertumbuhan populasi Brachionus plicatilis. Dilaksanakan pada tanggal 10 April sampai 4 Mei 2017 di Laboratorium UPTD BBIP Taluak Buo Dinas Kelautan dan Perikanan Provinsi Sumatera Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangna Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan yaitu : A (Chlorella = kontrol), B (Chlorella + Vit B12), C (Chlorella + Vit C), dan D (Chlorella + Vit B12 + Vit C). Hasil uji Analysis of Varians (ANOVA) menunjukkan bahwa pemberian vitamin yang berbeda pada Chlorella sp terhadap pertumbuhan populasi Brachionus plicatilis berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0.01) terhadap konstanta pertumbuhan spesifik, berpengaruh nyata (P<0.05) terhadap puncak populasi dan kepadatan akhir, tidak ada pengaruh (P>0.05) terhadap panjang total Brachionus plicatilis. Didapatkan perlakuan D terbaik dimana konstanta pertumbuhan spesifik Brachionus plicatilis (0.549 ind/ml), populasi puncak (274 ind/ml) dan kepadatan akhir (142.67 ind/ml).

ABSTRACT

This study aims to determine the effect of different vitamins on Chlorella sp on populations growth of Brachionus plicatilis. This research was conducted on 10 April to 4 May 2017 at UPTD laboratory of BBIP Taluak Buo Dapartemen of Marine and Fishery West Sumatera Province. This study used a Completely Randomized Desigh (CRD) menthod with 4 treatment and 3 replication were A (Chlorella = kontrol), B (Chlorella + Vit B12), C (Chlorella + Vit C), dan D (Chlorella + Vit B12 + Vit C). The results of the Analysis of Varians (ANOVA)test showed that the provision of different vitamins in Chlorella sp to  the growth of Brachionus plicatilis population had a very significant effect on spesific growth constanta, significant effect on maximal density and final density, not significantly different from the total lengt Brachionus plicatilis. The best tretment D where the specific growth consrtant with of (0.549 ind/ml), maximal density of (274 ind/ml) and final density of (142.67 ind/ml).
