PENAMBAHAN EKSTRAK TAUGE DALAM PAKAN UNTUK MENINGKATKAN POTENSI REPRODUKSI IKAN SEPAT MUTIARA (Trichogaster leeri)

Abstract

Sepat mutiara (Trichogaster leeri) merupakan sejenis ikan hias air tawar yang tergolong kepada famili Osphronemidae. Perkembangan gonad dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Faktor eksternal salah satu yang mempengaruhi adalah pakan. Penambahan ekstrak tauge pada pakan dapat mempengaruhi potensi reproduksi ikan Sepat mutiara. Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode Eksperimen dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Tanpa penambahan ekstrak tauge (Perlakuan A), ekstrak tauge dengan kandungan setara 75 mg tocoferol (Perlakuan B), ekstrak tauge dengan kandungan setara 100 mg tocoferol (Perlakuan C) dan ekstrak tauge dengan kandungan setara 125 mg tocoferol (Perlakuan D). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan ekstrak tauge berpengaruh terhadap kecepatan waktu pencapaian matang gonad, fekunditas dan derajat penetasan telur. Kata kunci : Ikan Sepat Mutiara, Ekstrak tauge, Pemijahan. Gourami pearl (Trichogaster leeri) is a kind of freshwater ornamental fish family Osphronemidae. The development of gonads is influenced by factors internal and external factors. External factors that often get special attention to spur the development of gonads is the feed. Therefore, the addition of bean extract in the feed to increase the reproductive potential of the fish Gourami pearl. This research was an experimental method using Randomized Complete Design (RAL) with 4 treatments and 3 replications. Without the addition of bean sprout extract (Treatment A), bean sprouts extract with equivalent content of 75 mg tocopherol (Treatment B), bean sprouts extract with content equal to 100 mg tocopherol (Treatment C) and bean sprouts extract with equivalent content of 125 mg tocopherol (Treatment D). The results showed that the addition of tauge extract affects the speed of achievement of mature gonad, fecundity and egg hatching degree. Key word : Gourami pearl fish, tauge extracts, spawning
