SPESIFIKASI DAN KONSTRUKSI ALAT TANGKAP IKAN JARING INSANG PERMUKAAN YANG DIOPERASIKAN DI DANAU SINGKARAK KECAMATAN JUNJUNG SIRIH KABUPATEN SOLOK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui spesifikasi dan konstruksi jaring insang permukaan, metode penangkapan, daerah penangkapan, dan hasil penangkapan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan tentang spesifikasi dan konstruksi alat tangkap jaring insang permukaan di Danau Singkarak adalah panjang sebelum dirakit 104 meter, panjang jaring setelah dirakit 69 meter, jumlah mata jaring bagian dalam 202 mata, jumlah mata jaring ke arah panjang 5.241 mata, shortening 33,65% dan hanging ratio 0,66 %. Bahan jaring digunakan nylon no 0,12. Bahan tali ris atas, tali ris bawah multifilament. Dari hasil penelitian metode penangkapan dilakukan pada sore dan pagi, daerah penangkapan ikan dari tepi danau 50 – 100 meter, kedalaman 35 – 80 meter dan kecerahan danau 1,98 meter – 2,15 meter dengan sasaran penangkapan ialah ikan permukaan.

This study aims to determine the specifications and construction of surface gill nets, fishing methods, fishing areas, and catch results. This type of research is descriptive research. The results of the study illustrate the specifications and construction of surface gill nets on Lake Singkarak are long before being assembled 104 meters, the length of the net after 69 meters is assembled, the number of mesh parts in 202 eyes, the number of net mesh in the length of 5,241 eyes, shortening 33.65 % and hanging ratio 0.66%. The net material used is nylon no. 12. Upper rope material, multifilament bottom rope. From the results of the research the method of catching was carried out in the afternoon and morning, the fishing area from the edge of the lake 50-100 meters, a depth of 35-80 meters and a lake brightness of 1.98 meters - 2.15 meters with the target of catching is surface fish.
