ANALISIS KELAYAKAN USAHA PENANGKAPAN IKAN DENGAN ALAT TANGKAP BAGAN DI CAROCOK TARUSAN KECAMATAN KOTO XI TARUSAN KABUPATEN PESISIR SELATAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi perikanan bagan, menganalisis kelayakan usaha alat tangkap bagan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Dari total alat tangkap bagan sebanyak 65 unit, maka  ditetapkan 20 unit alat tangkap bagan yang terdiri dari 10 unit kapal berukuran kecil dan 10 unit kapal berukuran besar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan di Carocok Tarusan dari identifikasi, bahwa di Carocok Tarusan terdapat 20 bagan yang beroperasi, ukuran kapal kecil meliputi panjang 14,90 m – 16,05 m, lebar 2,74 m – 3,30 m dan dalam kapal 0,85 m – 1,17 m. Sedangkan ukuran kapal besar meliputi panjang 18,58 m – 20,51 m, lebar 3,70 m – 4,49 m dan dalam kapal 1,34 m – 2,80 m. Kemudian untuk tenaga kapal ukuran kecil berkekuatan 80 -100 PS dan untuk tenaga kapal ukuran besar berkekuatan 160 – 180 PS.Dari analisis kelayakan terdapat usaha alat tangkap bagan didapat nilai rata-rata Net Present Value (NPV) dari kapal ukuran kecil sebesar Rp.173.060.773,8, Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR) sebesar 1,98 (>1) dan Internal Rate of Return (IRR) sebesar 40,82%. Kapal ukuran besar memperoleh Net Present Value (NPV) adalah sebesar Rp.472.210.439,5, Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR) sebesar 2,23 (>1) dan Internal Rate of Return (IRR) 36,86. Maka usaha alat tangkap bagan layak untuk dikembangkan.

ABSTRACT

This study aims to identify chart fisheries, analyze the feasibility of business fishing gear charts. The method used in this research is descriptive method. From a total of 65 units of chart catching equipment, a stratified random sampling (random-layered) was determined by 20 units of fishing gear consisting of 10 small-sized vessels and 10 large-sized vessels. Based on the results of the research conducted at Carocok Tarusan from identification, that in Carocok Tarusan there are 20 operating charts, the size of small vessels covers lengths of 14.90 m - 16.05 m, widths of 2.74 m - 3.30 m and in vessels 0 , 85 m - 1.17 m. While the size of large vessels includes lengths of 18.58 m - 20.51 m, widths of 3.70 m - 4.49 m and in ships 1.34 m - 2.80 m. Then for small-sized ship power measuring 80 -100 PS and for large-sized ship power measuring 160 - 180 PS. From the feasibility analysis there is a fishing gear business, the average Net Present Value (NPV) value of a small size vessel is Rp. 173,060,773.8, Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR) is 1.98 (> 1) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 40.82%. Large size vessels obtain a Net Present Value (NPV) of Rp.472,210,439.5, Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR) of 2.23 (> 1) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR) 36.86. So the business of chart fishing equipment is feasible to be developed.
