IDENTIFIKASI EKTOPARASIT PADA BENIH IKAN KERAPU BEBEK (Cromileptes altivelis) DI BBIP TELUK BUO, PADANG SUMATERA BARAT

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di BBIP Teluk Buo, Padang Sumatera Barat pada bulan Juli s/d Agustus 2018. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis ektoparasit pada ikan kerapu bebek (Chromileptes altivelis) di BBIP Teluk Buo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan di BBIP Teluk Buo, dengan ukuran 5cm, 6cm dan 7cm jumlah sampel 35 ekor dari keseluruhan ukuran. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan lima jenis ektoparasit yang menyerang ikan kerapu bebek Yaitu, Tricodina sp, Uronema marinum. Cryptocaryon irritans, Diplectanum sp dan Aspergillus sp. Pada ukuran 5 cm ektoparasit yang paling sering menyerang adalah Tricodina sp, dengan FK sebesar 35% dan IN 14,4,sedang kan dengan FK terendah adalah Cryptocaryon iritans sebesar 14% dan IN sebesar 3,5. Untuk ukuran 6 cm, FK dari ektoparast Tricodina sp memiliki persentase tertinggi yaitu 30 % dengan IN 16  dan yang terendah Aspergillus sp dengan FK sebesar 10 % dan IN sebesar 1. Sedang kan pada ukuran 7 cm ektoparasit yang memiliki FK tertinggi adalah Tricodina sp dengan persentase 27% dan IN sebesar 15, dan yang terendah adalah Diplectanum sp dengan FK sebesar 9 % dengan IN sebesar 1. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini bahwa ikan kerapu bebek banyak terserang parasite Tricodina sp baik di ukuran 5 cm, 6cm, dan 7cm.

ABSTRACT

This research was conducted at Buo Bay BBIP, Padang, West Sumatra in July to August 2018. The purpose of this study was to determine the types of ectoparasites in duck grouper (Chromileptes altivelis) in Buo Bay BBIP. This research uses a descriptive method. Sampling was carried out at the Buo Bay BBIP, with a size of 5cm, 6cm and 7cm with a sample size of 35 from all sizes. From the results of the study found five types of ectoparasites that attack duck groupers, namely, Tricodina sp, Uronema marinum. Cryptocaryon irritans, Diplectanum sp and Aspergillus sp. At the size of 5 cm ectoparasites that most often attacked were Tricodina sp, with a FK of 35% and IN 14.4, while the lowest FK was Cryptocaryon iritance of 14% and IN at 3.5. for size 6 cm, the FK of ectoparast Tricodina sp has the highest percentage of 30% with IN 16 and the lowest Aspergillus sp with FK of 10% and IN by 1. While the size of 7 cm ectoparasites which have the highest FK is Tricodina sp with a percentage of 27% and IN by 15 and the lowest is Diplectanum sp with a FK of 9% with IN of 1. The conclusion from the results of this study is that many grouper fish are attacked by parasite Tricodina sp in both size 5 cm, 6cm, and 7cm.
