Abstract

The objectives of this study is (1) Analyzing the status of water pollution, (2) Analyzing the trophic status of water, (3) and testing the concentration of heavy metals in Lake Maninjau water including Cuprum (Cu,) Ferrum (Fe), Plumbum (Pb) and Zinc (Pb) and Zinc (Pb) Zn). The study was conducted using survey methods and location determination by "purposive sampling". Determine the status of Lake Maninjau water pollution using the STORET analysis. Test the trophic level of water using Carlson’s 1977 method. Next, take water samples to analyze physic-chemical parameters. Based on the Storet analysis, water quality at each research station has the same score at a score of -48 which means that all stations are heavily polluted (class D). Based on the Lake Maninjau TSI score, it is categorized as hypereutrophic (high fertility). The results of this research include Cu metal ranging from 0.59-1.87 mg / L, Fe content ranging from 0.07 to 0.62 mg / L, Pb metal with a range of values from 0.10 to 1.20 mg / L, and Zn metal ranges from 0.41 to 0.94 mg / L which indicates that the Lake Maninjau region has experienced a decrease in water quality in the presence of heavy metal content that exceeds water quality standards.
