Pengaruh Salinitas Terhadap Daya Tetas Telur Ikan Asang (Osteochilus vittatus)
Abstract

ABSTRACK
The research aim was to determine the effect of salinity on egg hatchability, hatching time, hatching percentage, and survival rate (SR) until the egg yolk was depleted in Asang fish (Osteochilus vittatus). This research was conducted at the Integrated Laboratory of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Bung Hatta University, from April to May 2019. The method used in this study was an experimental method with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) 4 treatments and 3 replications, A <1 ppt, B Salinity 2 ppt, C Salinity, 4 ppt, D Salinity 6 ppt. From the research that has been done and statistically tested, it can be concluded that the salinity media hatch time gives the effect where the fastest salinity for egg hatching time is A <1 ppt treatment with the total length of hatching time after 23.74 hours. The highest percentage of hatching was in treatment D (6 ppt maternity that was 71.11, the highest egg yolk absorption rate was in treatment D (6 ppt maternity) that was 0.050 µm3/hour, the highest survival was in treatment A <1 ppt, which was 91.55% , from the observation of water quality is still in the proper category for fish life where the temperature is 26 -27 oC, DO ranges between 4.60 - 6.40 ppm, pH ranges between 7 -7.5, ammonia ranges between 0.005 - 0.40 ppm.
