Abstract

Abstract

The aim of the research to study influent fermentation of sediment from Floating Net Cage Aquaculture (FNCA) at Maninjau Lake. Sediment was sampled from bottom lake arround FNCA Maninjau Lake, Koto Malintang Village, Tanjung Raya Subdistrict, West Sumatera. The manures had already fermented by effective microorganism. Fermentation and culture held in Integrated Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, and Basis Laboratory of Biology, Bung Hatta University. The research was carried out from May 2013 until July 2013. The experiment was arranged in completely randomized design by four treatments and three replications. The treatments what use in the research : manures was fermented as many as 5 gr/L, manures was fermented as many as 10 gr/L, manures was  fermented as many as 15 gr/L, manures was fermented as many as 20 gr/L. Observed parameters were : population growth rate, mortality, nutrition contents from nitrogen and fosfor in sediment and organic manures. The results of the research showed fermented sediment of FNCA 5gr/L give population growth rate of 146 Ind/2L, mortality rate of 0,60 at ninth days.
