STUDI PERIKANAN LORE DI KECAMATAN V KOTO KAMPUNG DALAM KABUPATEN PADANG PARIAMAN PROVINSI SUMATERA BARAT

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know about fishing lore that includes a description of fishing gear lore, lore methods of operation of fishing gear, fishing ground, and the type of fish caught. The method used in this research is descriptive method to make observations and measurements directly into the field and directly following the operation of fishing gear lore.

Lore gear consists of two parts nets, which consist of the top four parts: upper wing, medang nets above, the trawl body and upper pouch. The total length is 20.44 meters overall lore. Boat lore in District V Koto Kampung Dalam total length of 6.0 meters, width of 0.8 meters total, in 0.7 meter and 0.4 meter draft, the machine used is a long drive shaft brands yamamoto 10 PK. Operating techniques gear lore that begins setting, and operated on the basis haulling waters with boats forward motion in a circle according to the length of the string pullers (50 m) with a speed of 2 knots. Lore fishing ground in the District V Koto Kampung Dalam 0,5 - 1,0 miles from shore, with depths ranging from 10-15 meters. Time needed to reach the location of the arrest of about 15-30 minutes at 2 knots. Lore is kind of the catch of shrimp and demersal fish species are tiger shrimp (Pennaeus monodon), white shrimp (Vannamei Pennaeus), pompano (Charanx ignobilis), mackeler fish (Arius thalassinua) and anchovy (Stolephorus spp.).
