Abstract

Mangrove vegetation is an ecosystem located between land and sea that forms an extensive and productive forest, living in tidal areas that are influenced by the environment.This study aims to identify and understand the structure of mangrove vegetation which includes relative density, relative frequency, relative dominance, and important value index. The method used is descriptive method by obtaining primary data. Determination of the method using line transects and sample plots. Furthermore, there were 2 species of mangroves identified at the research site, namely Rhizopora apiculata and Bruguiera gymnorrhiza. The species that dominates for tree, sapling, and seedling levels is Rhizopora apiculata
