Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the types of parasites, prevalence and intensity of parasites that attack goldfish in several ornamental fish shops in the city of Padang. This research is a method of observation and sampling of goldfish taken from 4 location. From the results of the study, it was found that there were 3 types of parasites including ectoparasites that attack goldfish, namely Argulus sp, Gyrodactylus sp, Dactylogyrus sp. For the prevalence of ectoparasite attacks found at location I, namely 33.3%, lokai II 100%, location III 66.6%, and at location IV, ectoparasite attacks were found, which was 66.6%.
