Abstract

Beuasak Island is one of the small islands in the marine conservation area of the marine river strait tourism park in accordance with the ministerial regulations. Administratively, Beuasak Island is located in Katurei Village, Southwest Siberut District.This study aims to analyze the suitability of land for coastal tourism on Buasak Island, Southwest Siberut, Mentawai Islands Regency. April 2022. Conducted on Beuasak Island, Southwest Siberut District, Mentawai Islands Regency, Padang City, West Sumatra Province. The suitability value of the results of the research at the three stations is, for station 1 it has a value of 78.60 which means that the location at station 1 is in the S2 category to be used as beach tourism, while at station 2 it has a value of 75.68 n station 3 has a value of 73, 35% so that the categories at stations 1-3 are S2 criteria (appropriate).
