PENGGUNAAN BAHAN FILTER BERBEDA PADA SISTEM RESIRKULASI AIR MEDIA PEMELIHARAAN IKAN MAS KOMET (Carassius auratus)
Abstract
The research was conducted from July to August 2023, This study aim to determine the effectiveness of using filter materials in the water recirculation system for rearing comet goldfish (Carassius auratus). The research method used was an experimental method using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments with 3 replications. These treatments are Treatment A (without filter), treatment B (fiber), treatment C (zeolite), and treatment D (Bioring). The data obtained were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) to determine the effectiveness of the treatment given to the water recirculation of the maintenance media. Next, it was analyzed using Duncan’s advanced test to see the differences between treatments. From the research results it was found that the highest survival value was in treatment D (93.33 ± 5.77) followed by treatment C (83.33 ± 15.27) then treatment B (73.33 ± 15.27), and the value the lowest was in treatment A (60.00 ± 10.00). The highest average absolute length growth was in treatment D (0.91 ± 7.37) followed by treatment C (0.71 ± 6.08) then treatment B (0.59 ± 4.00), and the lowest was in treatment A (0.44 ± 4.52). The highest average absolute weight growth was in treatment D (0.62 ± 5.57) followed by treatment C (0.52 ± 3.06) then treatment B (0.35 ± 1.53), and the lowest was in treatment A (0.23 ± 5.13).References
