PENAMBAHAN VITAMIN E DALAM PAKAN UNTUK MENINGKATKAN POTENSI REPRODUKSI INDUK IKAN SEPAT HIAS ( Trichogaster sp )

Abstract

In this experiment, the addition of vitamin E in feed means to determine the effects of Trichogaster sp fish’s parents reproduction potential. The method used is the complete random planning experiment with 4 ways of treatment and 3 repetition. The test subject is 12 males and 12 females. The maintenance done in a fiber vessel measuring 180x75x50 cm, and filled with water as high as 25 cm, which will be used as gonads maturating place, and an aquarium measuring 50x45x30 cm as many as 12 units which will be used as spawning place with ratio of 1:1. Vitamin E given to the different levels as  the treament is A (134, 22 mg/kg), B (201, 33 mg/kg), C (264, 44 mg/kg), D (335, 55 mg/kg). The result showed that the addition of vitamin E in feed mains significantly different ( P<0,01) concerning fecundity value the bad result obtained in the treatment of D with fekundity (average 2234 gram) and the degree of hatching  eggs (average 96,28%), egg  (0,630 mm).
