Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of different dissolved oxygen on survival of red carp fish seed infected bacteria. Infected fish Aeromonas hydrophila by injection with 108 cfu/ml, 1 ml/fish. Since the first day of observed clinical symptoms and survival up to 15 days of the study. The treatment used in this study are A (1-5 ppm dissolved oxygen), B (6-9 ppm dissolved oxygen), C (no treatment or control). The results showed that different dissolved oxygen proved to have no effect on the survival of red carp seed. Treatment B (6-9 ppm dissolved oxygen) is the best treatment to control or minimize the mortality rate of red carp fish seed higher due to Aeromonas hydrophila attack.
