ASPEK BIOLOGI IKAN CATUA(Puntius ) DIPERAIRAN UMUM NAGARI BATU PAYUANG KECAMATAN LAREH SAGO HALABAN KABUPATEN LIMAPULUH KOTA SUMATERA BARAT

Abstract

This research aim to know biological Aspect fish of Catua and its spreading pattern. This research is conducted in territorial water of public of Nagari Batu Payuang Kecamatan Lareh Sago Halaban Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota, during 3 week started from 01 July 2012 and end on 28 July 2012.

Research method the used is descriptive method which do leisure observation, got data from result of observation analyzed with analysis of regression. Long relation of Fish weighing of Catua (lateristriga puntius). Pursuant to got by data is fish of Catua have body weight which vary, weight gyrate 10,6 gram - 27,8 gram while length gyrate 8,1 gram - 15,1 gram.

Quality of water during perception gyrate 24-29°C, pH, 7,92, DO 8,35. good enough Parameter river stream for the location of conducting. Water emit a stream of better from mountain wellspring and its water have never run dry at dry season.

 From result of research about Biological Aspect Fish of Catua (Puntius) at this territorial water shall earn to become step early in conducting and can be made by information for the development of fishery effort hereinafter.
