Abstract

Kasiak Island is a small island located in the most northern part of Pariaman City Water
Conservation. The island has an area of 1.6 ha and is the smallest island in Pariaman City.
Kasiak Island has a beautiful wide beach and white. Land cover on the island consists of
forest vegetation area of 9.57 m2 (59.9 %) coastal area of 6.32 m2 (39.6 %) as well as
building and tower beacon area of 63. 2 m2 (0.4 %). Kasiak Island is located at coordinates
00°35'47" S - 100°04'29" E. During the study found two Green Turtle (Chelonia mydas)
nesting in east 0°35'47.84" S, 100°04'31.60" E, the number of eggs; 112 grains, with a
carapace length; 102 em, width; 89 em, whereas in the north 0°35'46" S, 100°04'28" E, with
a carapace length; 90 em, width; 84 em. While the texture of sand on the island is dominated
by sand Kasiak Island with a size of; 100-200 inches in the category of fine sand and dust
(90.92 % -92.47 %). Humidity turtle nests on average; 16.95 %, the average beach slope;
1.705°, tidal ranges; 92-117 em, and the temperature of the average nesting beaches; 27°C.
