Abstract

The study aims to determine the composition of the vegetation strutur of mangrove forest in the
Coastal Zone Bose Hamblet Disriet of North Siberut Utara Islands which includes the type, density,
frequenci, dominance, and importence. The methot used in this study purposive sampling Plot
transects to establish research based on density and differences biosfik conditions ( substrate, the
location of the mangrove, mangrove species ) by setting the number of transects totalling three (3)
research station. With the size of each plot is to the level of the tree 10 x 10 m, sapling 5 x 5 m, and
seedling for 1 x 1 m. The results of analysis of 3 (station) each average KR, FR, DR, and NP for the
three level type A. corniculatum 1.13%, 3.70%, 0.19%, and 5.02%. R. apiculata 89.94%, 73.35%,
92.98%, and 256.27%. R. mucronata 1.51%, 3.92%, 0.29%, and 5.72%. S. alba 5.29%, 12.54%,
6.22%, and 24.05%. S. caseolaris 2.13%, 6.49%, 0.52%, and 8.94%. For the level sapling A.
cornuculatum 11.80%, 21.91%, 12.63%, and 46.36%. R. apiculata 81.01%, 61,33%, 78.75%, and
221.09%. R. muconata 1.79%, 4.92%, 1.74%, and 8,47%. S. alba 2.46%, 6.88%, 3.25%, and 12.59%.
S. caseolaris 2.94%, 4.94%, 3.63%, and 11.51%. Average value for seedling A. corniculatum 11.71%,
29.92%, and 41.64%. R. apiculata 87.89%, 68.41%, and 156.30%. S. alba 0.39%, 1.67%, and 2.06%.
Mangrove species found in the Bose Hamblet consists of 4 families with 7 speciesof mangrove species
is Rhizophoraceae with R. apiculata, R. mucronata, and R. stylosa. Sonneratiaceae families with
species S. alba, and S. caseolaris. Then family Myrsinaceae the species is A. corniculatum, and
