Abstract

Purpose of the study was to in different characters truss morphometric of Channa striata, Analyzing different the main factor, analyzing pettern grouping, analyzing genetic distance, Analyzing water quality parameters at three different locations  inland water habitats. The study was conducted from April to June, 2014 in the floodplain waters Sumur Kucing District East Lampung Lampung province, Durian Kapas river Agam District of West Sumatra Province and Mandau River Bengkalis District of Riau Province. Determining the location of fish sampling study conducted by purposive sampling, the fish are taken from 20 individuals at each study site. Measurements of specimens with a manual caliper on the left side of the body, with 21 morphometric characters. Morphometric analysis of character data between habitats at One Way ANOVA test data while the main different use the Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and grouping the data in the test population with Canonical Discriminant Functions using SPSS software version 13. The results showed that there is a difference character truss morphometric  population of C. striata from Lampung with Riau the 3 of 21 different characters morphologi, Lampung with West Sumatra which is 17 of the 21 different characters morphologi, West Sumatra with Riau which is 17 of the 21 different characters morphologi. There are differences of C. striata morphological characters of the main distinguishing character is the end of the bone morphometric head – beginning pelvic fins with a value of 0.921, pelvic fins beginning - the beginning of the dorsal fin with a value of 0.896 and the upper end of the mouth - the lower end of the operculum with a value of 0.886. C. striata  population into three groups, namely Lampung, West Sumatra and Riau.
