PEMBERIAN PROBIOTIK PADA PAKAN YANG DICAMPUR DAUN KALIANDRA (Calliandra callothyrus) TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN BENIH IKAN GURAMI (Osphronemus gouramy Lac)

Abstract

The research aim was  to determine the concentration of probiotic mixed with Kaliandra leaf (Calliandra calothrysus) in feed on the growth of carp fish seed (Osphronemus gouramy Lac). This research  was conducted from April to June 2014 in the Integrated Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries Oceanography, University of Bung Hatta, Padang. The method used in this research was an experiment with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments used in this study were: Treatment A (Control), Treatment B (15 ml / kg of feed), Treatment C (20 ml / kg of feed), Treatment D (25 ml / kg of feed). Parameters measured were survival rate and growth of absolute weight. The results showed that administration of probiotics are mixed calliandra leaves to seeds carp do not give a real difference to the increase in body weight of carp. The results showed that feeding with treatment D better against absolute weight, and absolute long, (6.74 grams), (4:37 cm). while the survival rates found in treatment C is 98.3%.
