PENGAYAAN PAKAN DENGAN VITAMIN E TERHADAP TINGKAT KEMATANGAN GONAD IKAN BUJUK (Channa lucius, Cuvier).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the enrichment of the feed with vitamin E toward the maturity of the gonads level of to Channa lucius, Cuvier. This study used a randomized complete design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 3 replications, as for treatment A (control feed), treatment B (vitamin E 301.99 mg / kg of feed), treatment C (vitamin E 503.32 mg/kg of feed, treatment D (vitamin E 704.65 mg / kg of feed). The samples of fish used were parent of Channa lucius, Cuvier as much as 12, which was obtained from the waters of Duri Pekanbaru Riau. The parent fish of Channa lucius, Cuvier reared in cement tanks with size 400x250x60 cm, and included warring with size 175x70x50 cm 4 units, at each warring filled the breeding of Cuvier fish. Feeding was administered once a day at 18:00 pm, each parent of fish gets 7 juveniles of Nile Tilapia fish. From the results of this research showed that the maturation speed of gonads on that treatment C with vitamin E 503.32 mg / kg of feed during (63 days), followed by treatment D with a dose of vitamin E 503.32 mg/kg of feed during (65 days), subsequent treatment B with a dose of Vitamin E 30 1,99 mg / kg of feed during (68 days) and treatment A of feed during (72 days).
