KAJIAN TENTANG KEPEMILIKAN ASET NELAYAN ABK PURSE SEINE DI KENAGARIAN SASAK KECAMATAN SASAK RANAH PASISIE KABUPATEN PASAMAN BARAT

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the types of assets owned by the family of  ABK purse seine fishermen in Kenagarian Sasak District of Sasak Ranah Pasisie of West
Pasaman Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive method is one way of the research to describe and interpret an object to appropriate in the facts. The result indicate that the asset owned by the family ABK fishermen in Kenagarian Sasak are current asset, fixed asset and intangible asset. Average incomes of the ABK fishermen who have asset (productive asset) more than the ABK fishermen that have non productive asset, ownership of assets influence to income respondens per month. Based on the result of statistic analysis with the “t” test to look the differences in economy’s income the ABK fishermen per month that have asset with don’t have asset to prove that the asset of an effect on the economy ABK fishermen, where t count > t
table so H 0 is rejected and H is accepted (there is an effect of asset on the economy respondents). In terms of income the level of welfare the ABK purse seine fishermen in Kenagarian Sasak 74 % had been properous and 24 % had not been properous, but in fact that found in the field, the majority of the respodents had not been properous because of bad habits such as wasteful that lead to most of them still fettered of the poverty trap.
