PENGARUH PERBANDINGAN INDUK JANTAN DAN BETINA DALAM PEMIJAHAN IKAN SEPAT MUTIARA (Trichogaster leeri Blkr) TERHADAP FEKUNDITAS DAN DAYA TETAS TELUR

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the ratio of male and female broodstock in generating fecundity and hatching rate. The method used in this study was the experimental method. With a completely randomized design (CRD) that were 3 treatments and 3 replications where treatment A (1 male: 1 female), treatment B (1 male: 2 females) and treatment C (1 male: 3 females). The samples of fish used in this study was broodstock Trichogaster leeri Blkr with 9 parent fish male and 18 female. The results of this research showed that the ratio of the highest on treatment A with the ratio 1 male and 1 female and lowest in treatment C with a ratio of 1 male and 3 females. The highest fecundity in this study was found in treatment A with total fecundity 3447 ± 762 egg granules and the lowest was found in on Treatment C with total fecundity 3264 ± 257 egg granules. And highest in this study were found on treatment B with hatchability about 192,43 ± 1,91% and lowest in treatment A with hatchability about 187,78 ± 9,74%.
