PENGARUH PEMBERIAN PAKAN ALAMI YANG BERBEDA TERHADAP KELANGSUNGAN HIDUP DAN PERTUMBUHAN LARVA IKAN SEPAT MUTIARA (Trichogaster leeri)

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know the effect of giving diffrent natural feeding on growth and life of trichogaster leeri. The research conducted on March-April 2014 in Faculty Of Marine and Fishery Laboratory Of Bung Hatta University, Padang. The researcher used complete random design (RAL) method to do this research. There are  four treatment and three repeated treatment. Treatment A: Artemia 15 day, Treatment B: Artemia 15 day, Moina 15 day, Treatment C: Tubifex 30 day, Treatment D: Artemia 15 day, Tubifex 15 day. The treatment was given to trichogaster leeri used natural feeding such as Artemia, Moina and Tubifex. Then larvae is used ages 4 day and it was took  in aquarium 40x20x20 cm, density 50 trichogaster leeri, and height of water 10 cm

The result of this research showed that growth and length which highest on treatment D (24,27 %) and lower on treatment A (13,61%). Adding of weight which highest D (0,23%) and lower A (0,049%).
