PEMBERIAN Tubifex sp DENGAN FREKUENSI YANG BERBEDA TERHADAP KELANGSUNGAN HIDUP DAN PERTUMBUHAN LARVA IKAN BUJUK (Channa lucius, Cuvier)

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of providing Tubifex sp with various frequency toward the survival and growth of larva the Channa lucius, Cuvier. This research was conducted from October 2013 to January 2014 at Integrated Laboratory at Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science, Bung Hatta University Padang. Method of research used completely randomized design (CRD) with 3 treatments and 3 reiterations. Larva was used have age 7 days and used medium of aquarium as much as 9 units with size 40 x 20 x 20cm with water volume capacity as much as 8 liter. The result of research showed that the highest survival rate was on treatment B 63.33 + 7.50a and the lowest survival rate on treatment A that is 20.00 + 5.29a. The highest absolute weight growth from this research result found on treatment B 0.58 + 0.04 gram, and the lowest was found on treatment A 0.35 + 0.03 gram, and then to the highest absolute length growth was found on treatment B 2.64 + 0.23 cm and the lowest was found on treatment C 2.21 + 0.70 cm
