PENAMBAHAN BIOBALL PADA FILTER MEDIA PEMELIHARAAN TERHADAP KELANGSUNGAN HIDUP DAN PERTUMBUHAN BENIH IKAN MAS KOKI (Carassius Auratus)

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyzed the different of filter media on psiculture Mas Koki (Carrasius auratus) towards survival and growth. It was chosen by using experimental with a completely randomized design. It was consisted of  4 treatments and 3 replicates.A Treatment (40 bioball/talang/aquarium), B Treatment (50 bioball/talang/aquarium), C Treatment (60 bioball/talang/aquarium), D Treatment (70 bioball/talang/aquarium). The sample of this research was Mas Koki fish, the total number of sample was 360 fish, old 40 days. The container used 12 aquarium with size 90 x 40 x 35 cm, each aquarium filled 30 Mas koki fish. The result of this research shows that the use of different filter gives no real contribution towards survival and growth of Mas koki fish (p >

0.05). The treatment of each survival had same (100%), the real highest weight found on B Treatment (2,605 gr), the real highest length found on B treatment (1,480 mm).Water quality values obtained during the study was pH 7, DO 4.5-7 mg / L, temperature 27-28ºC, NO30.08-

1.9 mg / L, NO2 0- 0.202 mg / L, NH3 0.20 -0.82 mg / L and CO2 from 3.30-24.20 mg / L.
