ANALISIS KELAYAKAN USAHA PENANGKAPAN IKAN DENGAN ALAT TANGKAP BAGAN DI KELURAHAN KARAN-AUR KOTA PARIAMAN

Abstract

This study aims to identify the fishing chart, feasibility analysis chart of fishing gear as well as to determine the policy analysis in the development of fishing gear in the Village of Karan chart-Aur Pariaman. The method used in this study is the observation method with direct observation of spaciousness and conduct interviews with fishermen and vessel owners. Research results obtained identification chart fishery boat length 15-19 m, width of 2.50 to 3.80 m and in the 1.25 to 2.80 m. The size of fishing gear on each chart also have different sizes ranging from the length of 21-30 m, width 21-30 m and in 12-25 m. Results of feasibility analysis obtained by the Net Present Value (NPV) of the small size of the vessel and the vessel Rp.394.344.000 large size with a NPV of Rp.842.515.234, Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR) to obtain the value of small boats and ships BCR 1,425 large size 1.644, Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of small size vessels of 63.87% and large size vessels by 47.07%. Results of policy analysis in the development of fishing gear chart effort needs to be done, increase productivity arrest and comparative advantages, the need for a policy to limit the fishing fleet chart and mesh (mesh size) to the preservation of fishery biota, fish improvements in market access, provision of facilities and infrastructure for alternative livelihoods in farming activities together.
