PENGARUH PENAMBANGAN EMAS DI PERAIRAN SUNGAI SINGINGI DI KABUPATEN KUANTAN SINGINGI PROPINSI RIAU TERHADAP KUALITAS AIR DAN KUALITAS IKAN TAWES (Barbonymus gonionotus)

Abstract

The influence of gold mining in the waters of the River Singingi in Kuantan Singingi Riau Province on water quality and fish quality tawes (Barmonymus gonionotus). The research was conducted in February 2015 in the course of the Singingi in Kuantan Singingi Riau Province. The purpose of this study was to observe the effect on the river Singingi Gold mining on water quality and heavy metal content in fish flesh tawes. In this study water quality parameters tested such as temperature, pH, alkalinity, DO, COD, BOD, TDS, TSS, brightness and hardness, while also knowing the content of heavy metals Hg, Cu, Pb, and Zn in water and in fish meat tawes. Sampling sites set up 3 station, station 1 upstream station 2 middle 3 stations downstream results compared to PP.RI No. 82 of 2001 and the Directorate General of POM RI Health Department No: 03 725 / B / SK / 1989. Results of research conducted to get the results on the quality of the water temperature, pH, TDS, hardness is still below the standard value mutu.TSS, DO, BOD, COD, alkalinity and brightness already passed the quality standard. Hg, Cu, Pb and Zn in water had passed the quality standard and Hg, Cu, Pb in the flesh of fish has not passed the quality standard while Zn had passed the standard.
