Abstract

The objectives of study are to analyze the marketing chain, analysis of marketing margins and profit analysis trading system of trolling fishery products in Pariaman. The method used is survey method. The data were collected in this study, are primary and secondary data. The result of study shows that the marketing system of trolling fishery product as follow:

Pattern I: Producer          Agent             Retailer            Consumer.

Pattern II: Producer           Agent           Collector for distributing to other area          Retailer

                  Consumer.

Based on  the margin analysis, it shows the highest margins obtained by fishermen to retailers in the Pariaman market areRp. 8.000/Kg  are for Yellowfin, Rp.7.700/Kg for Tuna and Rp 7.500/Kg for Skipjack. Meanwhile the lowest margins obtained by the fishermen to retailer Karan Aur Fish Market are Rp. 5.000/Kg for Yellowfin and Tuna, and Rp. 4000/Kg Skipjack. From the analysis of the profit that is gained by fishermen Rp. 1.09344 million, in one trip. And the highest profits, obtained by fisherman to retailers in the Pariaman market are Rp. 6.037/Kg for Yellowfin, Rp. 5.737/Kg for Tuna and Rp. 5.537/Kg for Skipjack. Meanwhile the lowest profits obtained by agents amounted are Rp. 667/Kg for Yellowfin, Tuna and Skipjack.
