Pengaruh Pemberian Pakan Alami yang Berbeda Terhadap Kelangsungan Hidup dan Pertumbuhan Larva Ikan Palmas (Polypterus senegalus, Cuvier)
Abstract
The research aims to identify and define the different natural food on the survival and growth of fish larvae palmas (Polypterus senegalus, Cuvier). The Integrated Laboratory of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science, was conducted over 45 days, starting from the date of June 26th to August 8th, 2015. This study used a completely randomized design with 4 treatments and 3 replications. A treatment (administration of Artemia, sp), treatment B (giving Moina, sp), treatment C (giving Tubifex, sp), and treatment D (a combination of three types of natural food). The fish samples used palmas fish larvae aged 7 days, as many as 180 birds. Aquarium as many as 12 pieces, size 40 x 20 x 20, each filled 15 aquarium fish larvae Palmas. The results showed that the influence of different natural food for survival is highest C treatment (giving Tubifex, sp) is 86.7%, while the growth of the absolute best length of treatment C (giving Tubifex, sp) is 4.98 cm / tail, further growth the absolute best heavy treatment C (giving Tubifex,sp) with average fish weight - average 1.62 g / head, then the growth of the specific weight of the best treatment C (giving Tubifex, sp) with the result 1,75gr / day, and the best growth of specific length C treatment (feeding Tubifex, sp) with the result that 5,79gr / day. While the water quality parameters within tolerances observed average temperature of 27.5 0C, with a pH of 7.5 results, and DO with an average yield of 6.62 ppm.
