Abstract

The research aims to determine the influence of the provision of feed with different levels of a protein to survival and growth seed Trichogaster leeri fish’s. The research was conducted in May - July 2015 at the Integrated Laboratory in Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science, Bung Hatta University, Padang. Methods used in this research is his experiments with complete random design (CDR) 3 ways of treatment and 3 repetition. Treatment A (the feed artificially with levels of protein 30 %), treatment B (the feed artificially with levels of protein 35 %), treatment C (the feed artificially with levels of protein 40 %). The survival seed Trichogaster leeri fish’s the highest in treatment A (93.33 %), and followed with treatment B (90 %), the lowest was in treatment C (86.67 %). To the specific weight daily of the highest obtained at the treatment C with average (0.027 gr), followed treatment B with average (0.025 gr), and the lowest obtained at the treatment A with average (0.020 gr). The growth absolute weight is highest at treatment C (2,48 gr), followed treatment B (2.32 gr), and the lowest at treatment A (1.88 gr). At length specific daily highest acquired at treatment C with average (0.029 cm), and the lowest acquired at treatment A with average (0.023 cm). The growth of the absolute length of the seed Trichogaster leeri fish’s the highest in treatment C (2.64 cm), followed treatment B (2.32 cm), and the lowest treatment A (2.09 cm). Conversion feed the best found in treatment C (3,69 gr), and followed with treatment B (4.21 gr), the lowest is treatment A (5.39 %).
