Abstract

The research is done to analyze maintenance female parent fish Osteochilus vittatus in different habitats respect to time achievement ripe the gonads , ovi somatic index , fecundity , the diameter of eggs and degrees hatching the egg. Methods used is experimental methods and analysis using t namely the comparison between 2 variables. Variable a namely maintenance parent fish Osteochilus vittatus in in a concrete tank with density 13 tail / m3. equivalent to 65 tail / 4.8 m3 , while variable b namely maintenance parent fish Osteochilus vittatus in keramba a net buoyant in lake maninjau with density 13 tail /  equivalent to 65 tail / 4.8 m3. The results of the study showed that time achievement ripe gonad that the fastest happened to maintenance female parent fish Osteochilus vittatus in keramba a net buoyant ( 122±32 days and the longest travel time in a concrete tank ( 144 ± 31 days ) .Index ovi somatic female parent fish Osteochilus vittatus preserved in in a concrete tank is the ( 16,43 ± 5.54 % ) while in keramba a net buoyant ( 13,65 ± 6.33 % ) . Fecundity fish Osteochilus vittatus preserved in in keramba a net buoyant ( 51.167±10.551 grains and in tub concrete tank ( 25.892 ± 9.869 grains ) .The diameter of eggs largest found in maintenance female parent fish asang in the concrete tank ( 0,97 ± 0.05 mm ) and smallest in maintenance female parent fish Osteochilus vittatus in keramba a net buoyant ( 0,90 ± 0.00 mm ) . Degrees hatching the egg is highest in maintenance female parent fish Osteochilus vittatus in the concrete tank ( 18,57 ± 13,74 % ) and the lowest is in maintenance female parent fish Osteochilus vittatus in keramba a net buoyant ( 15,20 ± 13,01 % ).
