IMPLIKASI PENDEKATAN KONSTRUKTIVISME DALAM PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA BAGI SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR
Abstract
Mathematics learning is more emphasis on efforts to revive the initiative or the role of students in digging his own knowledge. This is in line with a constructivist approach in which students construct their own knowledge based on individual experience and apply it directly to their environment. Application of constructivism in mathematics learning approach will train primary school students to learn independently and make their own understanding. Thus, in learning mathematics students do not just memorize formulas but rather to understand the concept to solve the problem. Through this constructivist approach of primary school students are expected to solve mathematical problems. The main target of this problem solving skills that that students are able to solve a math problem in many ways completion.
