PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DALAM MEMBENTUK KARAKTER ANAK DI SEKOLAH DASAR

Abstract

Character education is one of the tools to be able to guide one's children to be good people, especially religious education. With religious education that will shape the character akhlakul karimah for children so as to filter where the association is not good. Era of rapid shifts resulted in the development and changes in various aspects of life. The rise of change and moral disfigurement solely starting from lack of morals or character that are religious in a person. Someone who is able to inculcate religious well, then he can go through life with a positive multicultural. Another case when he lacks a religious character will easily make negative morals. Islamic religious education given in schools not only in terms of cognitive, but teachers as educators capable of providing Islamic education is affective and psychomotor. In this case, the necessary habituation, exemplary, and change the mindset of students about the importance of religion in this life in the character formation of children in primary schools.
