Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of job involvement as a mediation between organizational justice and conscientiousness on counterproductive work behavior. This research was conducted at the Regional Secretariat of Agam Regency with 132 respondents. Inferential statistical data analysis was measured using SmartPLS (Partial Least Square) 3.2.8 software, namely Measurement Model Assessment for instrument testing and Structural Model Assessment for hypothesis testing. The results of this study found that there was no effect of job involvement in mediating the effect of organizational justice and conscientiousness on counterproductive work behavior. Organizational justice on counterproductive work behavior has a negative and insignificant effect. Conscientiousness and job involvement on counterproductive work behavior have a positive and significant effect. Organizational justice and conscientiousness on work involvement and job involvement on counterproductive work behavior have positive and significant results.
