Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between emotional intelligence and organizational culture on human resource performance with work motivation as a mediating variable. This research was conducted at the Social, Cooperative and Trade and Tourism Office of West Pasaman Regency, with 179 employees. The statistical test tool used in this study is the Partial Least Square (PLS) method of structural equation modeling (SEM). The results of this study indicate that emotional intelligence has a positive and significant impact on human resource performance. Meanwhile, organizational culture has no positive and significant effect on human resource performance. In addition, the results of the study reveal the role of emotional intelligence and emotional intelligence has a positive and significant effect on work motivation, the same results also for work motivation as a mediation between emotional intelligence and organizational culture on human resource performance.
