Abstract

This study aims to examine and prove the effect of leader's psychological capital and total perceived reward on employee engagement with employee psychological capital as a mediating variable and team collectivism as a moderating variable. The population in this study were 175 employees of the Regional Secretariat of Solok Regency with 168 respondents who could be processed. The type of research data is primary data. Methods of data collection using a questionnaire. This research analysis tool uses Smart-PLS. The results of the study found that the psychological capital of the leader affects the psychological capital of employees, the total perception of rewards affects employee engagement, the psychological capital of the employee affects employee engagement, the psychological capital of the employee mediates the relationship between the psychological capital of the leader and employee engagement and team collectivism does not moderate the relationship between capital. psychology of leaders and psychological capital of the employees of the Regional Secretariat of Solok Regency.
